Temporary Dental Restorations
There have been some really exciting advancements in technology that are used in the dental office. Digital imaging and scanning systems provide preliminary measurements and improved software programs allow providers to virtually design a smile. There is even equipment which takes porcelain blocks to be milled down into a crown right in the office. As much as we all love one stop shopping, there are a few dental procedures that may require a little more time and consideration. A temporary restoration is often placed until the final restoration can be delivered. In this segment, Dr. Shaun goes over the basics of temporary dental restorations and some tips for keeping them in place until the permanent solution is ready to go home in the patient’s mouth.
