Sinusitis is the medical term used to describe when we have an infection in our sinuses. Often times, the pressure building up in these spaces can lead to pain in and around our teeth. In turn, an infected tooth can also travel up into the sinuses leaving dental professionals in a “chicken or egg” situation.
