How To Brush With BURST: The Proper Brushing Technique

You’ve purchased your BURST brush. Hooray, welcome to the family!  You’ve got her all plugged up, charged and ready to go. But, how do you brush with BURST?

How to brush with BURST is the number one question we get from BURST fans. And for good reason!  Many of our newcomers have lived in a world of manual brushes and are new to the electric scene. The good news is the answer to our this question is quite simple. You’ll end up working smarter, not harder, than ever before. Your BURST brush has the perfect balance between power and soft bristles;  you just need to obtain the proper angle and lighten up your touch to achieve the proper clean.

With your brush in the mode of your choice (whitening, sensitive or massage), place the toothbrush bristles at about a forty-five degree angle towards your gum line and glide gently across the area, slowly working your way from tooth to tooth.  Don’t forget to let those bristles get right in between your teeth too! You should be spending 3-5 seconds on each surface, allowing the bristles to thoroughly clean the area.  To ensure a total clean, repeat this process in each quadrant of your mouth. You’ll know when it’s time to switch areas thanks to your handy-dandy quad pacing timer which will pause the vibrations of your brush to signal that it’s time to move on to the next section. (upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left = the 4 quadrants)

While you may be used to give your grin a scrub with a stiff manual toothbrush, this can actually damage your enamel and gum tissue because of the abrasiveness of the bristles.  BURST has incredibly soft, tapered bristles that reach areas other brushes can’t.  Couple that with the highest rate of sonic vibrations on the market, and you’ve got yourself the dream team of plaque fighting sonic action. Go ahead, we dare yah – run your tongue over the surface of your teeth after just one brushing with BURST and you’ll feel the difference.
